Tim Clothier, founder of Illusion Projects, grew up in the southwest of England with a strong fascination for theatrical magic.
Surrounded by tools and mechanics, his father owned a landscape equipment servicing business and a construction company. Over the years, Tim has been fortunate enough to be involved in almost every aspect of live theater, including performer, stage manager, consultant, designer and builder – and loved it all! That diversity of experience contributes to his ability to create custom fabricated equipment that excites the audience while delivering a safe, comfortable and dependable product for the performers and technical crew working with it.
Over the past decade Illusion Projects has grown as a company and in their scope of work, which includes set design, prop fabrication, exhibits and attractions. Backed by an incredible team of highly skilled technicians, the company’s main goal is to provide top quality service and solutions to their diverse production partners.
