Tim Clothier’s Cata-Poultry
The Magician shows the audience a small, geared catapult on one side of the stage and a small cage hanging from a stand on the other side of the stage.
The Magician places a duck, a chicken, a bird, or any other feathered fowl into the bowl on the catapult. The Magician covers the empty cage with a cloth. The Magician aims the catapult at the cage and fires – the arm of the catapult springs forward and the bowl drops open showing the duck has vanished. The magician pulls the cloth away from the hanging cage and the duck, chicken or bird has reappeared, seemingly shot invisibly across the performance space.
Aluminum construction with a powder coated finish.
